In a canoe, we explore part of the calm waters of the river Degebe or paddle across the beautiful Divor Lake. Birds keep us company and delight our senses. After a deserved local snack we go for a walk along the river bank where rabbits, hares and partridges live amongst cows and sheep. Hours of total relaxation, ideal for those in search of peace and tranquillity.
Accommodation at our guest house
We head to Monsaraz, passing by the famous São Pedro do Corval village.
We visit a pottery, where you can make a clay piece our paint a plate (5€ per person). At the Alqueva lake we’ll do a beautiful canoe trip.
After that, at the shore, we’ll have a picnic lunch (you can buy from us or bring your own – we stop at a pastry in Reguengos village for you to buy it). After lunch we conquer Monsaraz by foot or in our jeep and visit a couple megalithic monuments.
