Jeep

Join us in our four wheel drive (jeep), to discover the green area of Valverde and Guadalupe, and some of the most emblematic monuments of the region of Évora: the cromlech and the menhir of Almendres, the big dolmen of Zambujeiro (megalithic monuments), the ruins of Giraldo’s Castle and the Roman ruins of Tourega. Somewhere under a tree we stop for a bite of local cheese and chorizosand, of course, a good glass of wine!

We travel by jeep through the River Degebe valley heading to the majestic AlquevaLake. River crossings, a leather factory and undulating hills meet us on the way. Near Reguengos many vineyards paint the landscape of green in the summer. After a picnic lunch by the lake, we conquer Monsaraz on foot. We visit the lovely village with amazing views over the Alqueva lake. On the way back, we visit some megalithicmonuments and the pottery village of São Pedro do Corval.
