There are plenty of things to do around Évora. You can stay several days here and you’ll be always entertained.
Here you have some suggestions:

  • Megalithic monuments: by car, on foot, on a bicycle or in a 4WD, those are places that you must visit. We’re proud to have the biggest dolmen in Europe, the oldest cromlech and a huge menhir, all only a few kms from each other. If you want to go further you have many others to visit.
  • Aldeia da Terra (Clay Village): at the Ilhas village, about 10 kms from Évora, a village made of clay was born. From the same artists Tiago and Magda, named in what to do in Évora, this is a coloured village that will conquer kids and grown ups. You can’t miss it!
  • Walking along the Aqueduct: dive in the countryside. Discover beautiful houses, small farms, sheep, cows and horses, aromatic herbs, olive and cork trees. With or without guide, just do it.
  • Eco trail: bring the kid’s bike (or rent one of ours) and go through the countryside using this non traffic trail, where kids are always safe.
  • Graça do Divor: Just nearby, a small village of white and blue. A majestic church and a very good restaurant, “Restaurante Divor”.
